ACCOUNTS CLERK - JHB (MIDRAND)

SALARY: R15 (NEG)

Requirements:

1. MUST RESIDE IN MIDRAND AREA
2. MUST HAVE at least 2-3 years similar experience
3. MUST be between the ages of 20-30
4. MUST have Pastel experience

Responsibilities:

1. Capture all Tax invoices and credit notes on Pastel.
2. Request valid tax documents if none were received.
3. Capture EFT register.
4. Prepare VAT schedule.
5. Check age analysis.
6. Reconcile creditors and prepare month-end payments.
7. Prepare and upload additional payments during the course of the month.
8. Write out all company cheques.
9. Follow up on queries and request credit notes.
10. Complete all monthly creditor schedules (Utility expenses etc.).
11. Complete all credit applications for new suppliers.
12. Arrange all new/expired credit cards.
13. Deal with all credit card queries.

Debtors Responsibilities (month-end):

1. Prepare summary recon on receipt of remittance.
2. Capture Remittances on Pastel.
3. Prepare fragile spreadsheet for month-end debtors.
4. Prepare returns schedule for month-end debtors.
5. Prepare special instruction schedule for month-end debtors.
6. Update query list and email to merchandisers.
7. Prepare Non Arrival spreadsheet for month-end debtors.
8. Prepare Late Arrival spreadsheet for month-end debtors.
9. Prepare handling fee for month-end journal.
10. Capture journals.
11. Prepare discount paid back schedule.
12. Prepare store claims spreadsheet.
