Field Technologist/Trialist, Winelands, Western Cape and Northern Cape – 2 x Positions

Field Biologist or Trialist

Our client is looking for a new field technologist to assist in testing their products on crops.

Reporting to: Field Trial Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Execute and evaluate field trials on different varieties of crops.
2. Collect data.
3. Writing of trial reports.
4. Manage trial process.
5. Maintenance of trial equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture.
2. At least 2 years’ experience with field trials of crop protection products.
3. A solid foundation of general knowledge about crops and their different types of pests.
4. Highly motivated.
5. Flexible regarding working hours.
6. Willingness to travel.
7. Good communication.

Salary: Market related.
