Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To identify system failures through root cause failure analysis and the repair of such
2. To perform quality maintenance work
3. Rectify all electrical, mechanical & hydraulic breakdowns
4. Ensure legal compliance on all machines
5. To participate and assure a high standard of work
6. Quality work at all times
7. After hours and standby duties
8. Be part of the safety programme and good housekeeping
9. Customer excellence to be driven by KPIs
10. Time keeping as per company rules and regulations
11. Expected to assist in other areas/divisions in the company when needed in terms of 'The Epiroc Way'

Competences, Skills and Experience:

1. Technical background (as per division requirements)
2. Trade - Qualified artisan
3. Understanding of schematics as per our product lines
4. Valid driver's license
5. Good product knowledge
6. Interpersonal skills to work as part of the Workshop team

Educational Qualification:
Grade 12 with trade qualification with 5 years' experience.
