Purpose Of The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Manager to drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and ensure exceptional customer service in the Bloemfontein region. This remote role requires a strong leader with experience in FMCG sales, key account management, and retail operations to exceed sales targets and optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients, ensuring sustained business growth.
Sales Growth & Customer Service: Meet and exceed sales targets by expanding product presence in existing and new stores while ensuring excellent service levels.
Budget & Expense Management: Develop and manage annual sales and expense budgets to maintain profitability.
Product & Pricing Strategy: Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, and sourcing to ensure competitive market positioning.
Stock & Order Management: Calculate order quantities, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with production teams to meet demand.
Market & Data Analysis: Analyze sales and stock reports, identify trends, and take action to optimize business performance.
Strategic Communication: Serve as the primary liaison with customer buying, planning, and technology teams.
Project & Equipment Management: Oversee new store openings, store revamps, special projects, and equipment implementation within budget.
Finance Coordination: Ensure supplier details, payments, and approvals are managed effectively in collaboration with the finance team.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is required. A degree/certificate in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales management, key account management, or buying within the FMCG or retail sector.
