Field Collection Officer
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct full-scale investigations of incidents from beginning to end, ensuring that all aspects are thoroughly examined.
- Provide comprehensive feedback and evidence to law enforcement where relevant and required.
- Provide detailed feedback to clients, victims, and other stakeholders regarding developments in their cases.
- Liaise with SAPS at designated SAPS stations (build relationships, attend all meetings, etc.).
- Collect and verify information at the scene of a crime (including CCTV video footage).
- Communicate with and debrief all victims, witnesses, security guards, and others at the scene of a crime.
- Gain tactical understanding of the incident.
- Report back to management on cases and investigations.
- Analyse reports.
- Conduct staff vetting.
- Submit statements and testify in court if necessary.
- Other projects on an ad-hoc basis as stipulated by management.
Expertise and Technical Competencies:
- Matric (Minimum).
- Tertiary Education (Advantageous).
- PSIRA Registered.

- Results and goal-oriented.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and own transport.
