Field Collection Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct full-scale investigations of incidents from beginning to end, ensuring that all aspects are thoroughly examined.
2. Provide comprehensive feedback and evidence to law enforcement where relevant and required.
3. Provide detailed feedback to clients, victims, and other stakeholders regarding developments in their cases.
4. Liaise with SAPS at designated SAPS stations (build relationships, attend all meetings, etc.).
5. Collect and verify information at the scene of a crime (including CCTV video footage).
6. Communicate with and debrief all victims, witnesses, security guards, and others at the scene of a crime.
7. Gain tactical understanding of the incident.
8. Report back to management on cases and investigations.
9. Analyse reports.
10. Conduct staff vetting.
11. Submit statements and testify in court if necessary.
12. Other projects on an ad-hoc basis as stipulated by management.

Expertise and Technical Competencies:

1. Matric (Minimum).
2. Tertiary Education (Advantageous).
3. PSIRA Registered.

Other Requirements:

1. Must have a valid driver's license and own transport.
