Junior Area Manager required in Worcester for a Fast Food Franchise

POSITION INFO : Responsibilities

1. Leading multiple Fast Food restaurants simultaneously
2. Coaching Restaurant Managers to ensure that store gains market share and achieve customer, people, and profit objectives
3. Drive customer satisfaction, facilities management, HR management, financial management, informational management, risk management
4. Good sales/marketing and time management
5. High visibility leadership and coaching
6. Daily store audits with weekly and monthly feedback to Managers
7. Period and quarterly store audit routine
8. Attend Operations meetings and communicate with Managers
9. Assist managers to draw up SMART plans
10. Following disciplinary procedures and chairing inquiries (presiding officer)
11. Assist with the opening of new restaurants
12. Build, align, and develop the team according to company goals
13. Business annual planning (budget for the region)
14. Ensure that all stores are profitable
15. Manage the local store marketing done by the Managers
16. Handle suppliers where necessary
17. Head Office inspections to ensure store is running operationally
18. Succession planning, people planning, and benching of staff for senior positions

Requirements :

1. Matric / Grade 12. A relevant Business Management Diploma or Degree would be very beneficial
2. MUST have +5 years experience as an Area Manager with Fast Food
3. MUST have managed between 6 and 8 stores at the same time – experience with high volume stores is essential
4. Previous experience in KFC, Nando’s, Barcello’s, or similar is preferred
5. Valid Driver's license
6. Own reliable transport
7. Must be able to travel regularly
8. SA Citizens Only
9. Salary is dependent on relevant operational experience, skillset, and experience with high volume stores
