Description: Our client, a small boutique wine, olive, and horse farm situated between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, has the above-mentioned position available.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, is self-motivated, can handle pressure, and shows initiative to enhance and help grow and manage the farming activities and learn new skills.

The potential candidate will also be required to look after the manor house when the owners are away.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

1. Vineyard farm management
2. Winemaking and boutique wine cellar management
3. Olive grove management and olive production (oils and table olives)
4. Management of horses, dogs, and other farm animals
5. Farm and garden irrigation (planning, installation, and maintenance)
6. Basic maintenance of farm implements

Advantageous Knowledge and Experience:

1. Vegetable tunnel farming experience
2. Sales/distribution experience in olives and wine

Commencement date: As soon as possible / January.
