About the Role:

The Facilities and Administration Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation’s operations run smoothly. They will provide strategic leadership, manage day-to-day activities, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance. This is a position for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to delivering results.

Requirements:

  1. National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
  2. National Diploma in Facilities Management (NQF Level 6).
  3. A minimum of 5 years in Facilities Management, with proven leadership experience.
  4. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  5. Strong planning, decision-making, and organisational abilities.
  6. Resilience under pressure and adaptability to changing business environments.
  7. Excellent communication and team-building skills.
  8. Code EB driver’s license.
  9. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement plans aligning organisational goals with resources and processes.
  2. Budget Management: Oversee budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies.
  3. Facilities Oversight: Ensure facilities meet safety and legislative standards, manage hygiene, pest control, and environmental services.
  4. Vendor Management: Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance and effective supplier relationships.
