Our client based in Montagu Gardens is seeking an energetic and results-oriented External Sales Representative to join their dynamic team!

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

1. Matric plus 3 years sales experience calling on wholesalers, hardware stores, and electrical contractors offering a range of various products.
2. Sales of LED lighting experience highly advantageous.
3. Computer literate.
4. Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
5. Excellent customer service.
6. Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
7. Ability to function independently and without supervision.
8. Good communication skills.
9. Customer-centric.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical ability, and a positive outlook.
11. Good organizational time management skills and attention to detail.

Duties

1. Managing sales portfolio calling on existing clients and sourcing new business opportunities.
2. Promote marketing as and when needed to increase contacts.
3. Prospecting for new contacts and looking at opportunities to gain new clients.
4. Following up from leads from social media.
5. Negotiating and quotations.
6. Closing of sales.
7. Evaluating and advising on client's requirements.
8. Follow up on wholesalers on requests and leads.
9. Managing Promotions and breakfast runs and any other marketing initiatives that are introduced.
10. Excellent after care service offering.
11. Resolving any problems or queries that arise.
12. General administration duties.

Salary: Basic, plus commission, use of company car to see clients, company laptop, and cell phone.
