External Sales Representative (Hybrid) – Parow, Cape Town.
An established company based in Cape Town is looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate External Sales Representative to become part of their growing team.
This individual will play a key role in engaging with both existing and prospective clients, with a strong focus on the restaurant and hospitality sector. From lead generation to closing deals, the successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle.
A proven track record in sales is essential, along with excellent networking and negotiation skills.
The role requires a well-groomed, self-motivated professional who has a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
R10 000 to R15 000 per month + Commission.
R2 500 Car allowance, R1 000 Vehicle advertising allowance, R2 250 Petrol Card Allowance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Diploma / Certificate in Sales
- Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Proven sales experience with a successful track record
- Previous exposure to the hospitality industry
- Experience working with POS (Point of Sale) Systems (Essential)
- Experience working within / with restaurants (Essential)
- Strong networking and negotiation skills
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Well-groomed and ambitious
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals, ensuring all customer needs are met
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and product demonstrations
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and progress
