External Sales Representative â Tooling & Industrial Sector

Role Overview

This is an on-the-ground sales position that requires a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, meeting clients face-to-face, and expanding business in industrial, mining, aviation, and hardware markets. You'll be responsible for growing sales volumes, identifying new business opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Promote and sell the full range of tooling products within the target industries.
• Prospect new clients and expand the customer base through consistent field visits.
• Conduct regular client visits and follow a structured call cycle.
• Provide product advice and ensure the right solutions are offered.
• Record all interactions and maintain accurate sales tracking.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to promote the product range.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven field sales experience, ideally within the industrial / mining / aviation / hardware industries.
• Must reside on the East Rand and be familiar with the surrounding area.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (will occasionally use company vehicle).
• Strong verbal and written communication, confident and target driven.
• MS Outlook & Excel (basic proficiency).
• Clear criminal record and contactable references.
