Our client, a leading manufacturer and provider of access control solutions, including boom gates, turnstiles, and related security products, with a proven track record and a strong reputation in the market, is seeking to grow the external sales team with a hunter-minded professional ready to close deals and contribute to business growth.
This role is ideal for a natural hunter who thrives on building strong client relationships, leveraging both warm and cold leads, and selling into an already well-established network in the access control and security solutions space.
Salary: R17 500 basic plus company car and phone and lucrative commission.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric + formal qualification in Sales and/or Marketing.
Valid driver’s license
Minimum 2 years of successful experience in external field sales.
Proven track record in solution selling, preferably in technical or industrial products.
Hunter mentality with excellent closing skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn detailed product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote and sell the full range of access control solutions in the field.
Identify new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.
Convert leads (company-generated and self-sourced) into successful sales.
Conduct site visits and layout planning to ensure accurate, tailored quoting.
Generate and follow up on quotations in line with company pricing strategy.
Collaborate with internal departments including technical, drawing, and factory teams.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow-up.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Provide regular market intelligence and competitor insights to management.
