Responsibilities:

  1. Apply appropriate sales processes within area of responsibility to achieve sales targets and build client relationships.
  2. Understand, read, and anticipate the market and clients' needs to design and deliver innovative, customized value-adding solutions to a portfolio of clients.
  3. Deliver exceptional service that exceeds clients' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
  4. Maximise business portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  5. Maintain expert knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedures, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
  6. Ensure compliance with governance in terms of legislation and audit requirements.
  7. Retrieve all qualified leads from internal channel sales pipeline and make contact with existing or new customers to generate sales.
  8. Source new leads through external contacts and other channels to increase customer base if required.
  9. Contact prospective clients and sell appropriate banking products to achieve sales targets.
  10. Deliver the end-to-end client management process through continuous engagement with the client on process milestones.
  11. Analyse competitor information gathered and ensure active monitoring of market trends and influences.
  12. Identify new business opportunities that impact the industry.
  13. Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve previously determined sales targets in line with quality, productivity, and sales requirements.
  14. Manage own development to increase competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

In accordance with the National Credit Act (NCA), candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
