PSI’s flagship MSM program, the Yim’lo Project, is recruiting new talent to support the next phase of the project. In the previous phase, with funding from the Merck Foundation, we conducted extensive research and design with men and other stakeholders to understand MSM barriers to HIV services and co-create solutions to those barriers at the individual level.
They are now embarking on a new phase that will focus on piloting and adaptive implementation of the two solutions designed i.e., Coach and digital hook-up service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Together with the Learning & Adaptive Implementation Advisor and M&E Advisor, prepare and review qualitative discussion guides in line with the PSI Research Tool Kit.
- Monitor implementation of field research activities including field supervision of data collectors in line with the PSI Research Tool Kit.
- Assist with data entry and cleaning in line with approved study proposals as needed.
- Conduct secondary analysis of data.
- Documentation and record keeping of all research activities.
- Transcription and translation.
- Literature reviews, desktop analyses, and/or scoping reviews.
- Prepare and review reports on research findings in line with approved study designs.
- Assist with monitoring and evaluation activities as needed and indicated by the Learning & Adaptive Implementation Advisor and M&E Advisor in line with the project work plan.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Learning & Adaptive Implementation Advisor and M&E Advisor.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences: Sociology, Demography, Development studies or any related social science discipline.
- 1 year of experience in at least two of the following areas: data collection, data cleaning, analysis, and management of research and/or monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Proven experience with and proficiency in data analysis and the use of statistical software packages for data analysis (e.g., Dedoose, Nvivo).
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in qualitative coding and analyses.
