Location: Sandton, Johannesburg | 50% Travel to Export Countries

Salary: R42000 – R48 000

Our esteemed Client is seeking a dynamic Exports Commercial Consultant to join their forward-thinking team. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for international markets, sales growth, and brand elevation of homeware, furnishing and textiles — we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

You will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing export sales strategies, expanding into new territories, and developing meaningful global partnerships. This is a hybrid role requiring 50% travel to export countries, perfect for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and drive export sales strategies and go-to-market plans
2. Identify and secure new business opportunities in emerging markets
3. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and SLAs with international clients
4. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with global partners
6. Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
7. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual standards across markets

What We’re Looking For:

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial export management and sales
2. Proven track record in retail or wholesale environments
3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
4. Strong business acumen and knowledge of international trade environments
5. Willingness to travel extensively
6. Fluent in English and one other South African language
7. A valid passport and driver’s license

Qualifications:

1. National Senior Certificate Mandatory
2. Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing advantageous
