Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works is seeking Experienced Structural Analysis Engineers for advanced aircraft development programs located in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design
2. Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
3. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment
4. Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
5. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2. 5+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related experience with a Master’s or work related experience with a PhD
3. Experience with finite element analysis tools

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the standard, although not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $95,200 - $128,800
