Job description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Event Planning & Execution: Plan and execute corporate events, conferences, and trade shows from concept to completion. Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, AV setup, and accommodation. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Sales & Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services. Develop compelling and highly creative event proposals that attract and secure clients. Demonstrate a strong history of securing new business through well-crafted event proposals. Work closely with the sales team to align event execution with revenue goals.
  3. Project Management: Lead the execution of event projects, from planning to post-event analysis. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions proactively. Coordinate and manage internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery. Maintain detailed records of project progress, budgets, and client feedback.
  4. Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event branding and promotional strategies. Oversee the creation of visually appealing and persuasive event proposals, presentations, and promotional materials. Assist in executing social media and email marketing campaigns for events.
  5. Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance and event success, providing reports on return on investment (ROI). Analyze trends and provide strategic recommendations for future improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of event management experience in a corporate event management agency or similar agency.
  3. Proven track record of developing creative, winning event proposals.
  4. Strong sales acumen with experience securing new business and achieving sales targets.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (such as Asana, Trello, etc.).
  8. Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and be an experienced frequent driver, as the role requires regular travel to client meetings and event venues.
  9. Project Management certification and familiarity with online event platforms and virtual collaboration tools is a plus.
