CFAM Technologies, a manufacturer of world-class food and feed processing equipment, is looking for an Equipment Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects to join our Sales team in the CFAM group of companies. We are passionate about food security and enable communities to utilize locally produced agricultural products to support food security through extrusion technology.
As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and ensuring ongoing success by providing expert guidance, conducting inspections, and offering tailored solutions for equipment needs. Your role will involve both on-site client visits and strategic advice to help clients boost production efficiency. You'll also have the opportunity to represent our company at trade shows to promote our products and build relationships with potential clients.
Job Description
Conduct on-site client visits to assess their equipment needs and evaluate critical spare parts.
Provide detailed quotations for parts and individual equipment based on client requirements.
Inspect and analyze CFAM equipment on-site, offering recommendations.
Advise clients on new systems and equipment that can enhance production levels and reduce downtime.
Guide clients on the timely replacement of outdated equipment with advanced solutions.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through continuous support and service.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote our products and services.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in FMCG sector.
Diploma/Degree in Sales/Marketing.
Key skills required:
Knowledge in food and feed equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office: MS Visio, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Target driven and competitive.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to use own initiative in establishing new business.
Ability to conduct on-site visits and inspections.
Comfortable representing the company at trade shows and networking events.
Customer-focused, with a strong problem-solving ability.
