Intercare Tyger Valley Sub-Acute Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Bellville, Cape Town, seeks to recruit an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary.

The purpose of the position is to provide a proficient nursing service within the policies and procedures, governing legislation and good corporate governance in order to ensure satisfaction of customer needs, demands and preferences.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

1. To function as part of a team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
2. To maintain the comfort of the patient and do regular observations.
3. To promote and maintain good communication skills with the multidisciplinary team and the patients' family.
4. To maintain patient confidentiality.
5. To maintain effective recordkeeping as required by Intercare policies / procedures.
6. To adhere to infectious control policy and procedure.
7. To use resources appropriately without wastages and abuse of equipment and consumables.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12
2. Qualified as Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
3. Registration with SANC
4. Minimum 2-3 years experience in medical, surgical and geriatric care
5. Previous experience within a Sub-Acute / Rehabilitation Environment would be advantageous
