Job description

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

Ensuring correct and timely capturing of issue notes.
Ensuring timely placement and expediting of stock orders.
Putting procedures in place to prevent stock out situations.
Overseeing monthly stock take and report on variances.
Ensuring that the Storemen render a professional service to all end users.

Completing weekly and monthly reports.
Ensuring proper housekeeping is maintained in store.
Implementing of 20 Keys/ HACCP / Risk Control and apply general housekeeping rules.

Ensure that the Astral’s disciplinary code is adhered to at all times.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

Matric / Store qualification.
At least 3 years’ experience in stores environment.
Computer literate.
Fluent in English and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Effective time management.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.

Skills Required

Speak, read and write English well, communication on all levels;
Good supervisory and interpersonal skills;
Must be computer literate and proficient In MS Word and Excel;
FSSC and Food Safety knowledge;
Willingness to work public holidays and weekends when required;
Must be a team player and be able to work independently;
Follow procedures and instructions timeously and accurately.
