Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field
Government Certificate of Competence – Government Ticket (GCC) essential
Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in a Union environment
Demonstrated experience in leading large capital investment projects
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, civil, IT and automation
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Collaborative style and ability to influence
Strong communication skills (written and oral) at all levels of the organisation
Strong financial and business acumen
Fluent in English
Key Performance Areas:
Manage, coordinate and direct all activities of the organization of Engineering Department in the plant within the strategic vision of the Business Plan of the Company
Responsible for the Environmental Management System of the Factory, delegating the same for Environmental Coordinator (ISO 14001, TS 16949, OSHAS 18000)
Manage resources, provide technical support, and seek the satisfaction of customers in an environment of total quality
Establish and ensure compliance of the strategic objectives of the organization related to KPI indicators of cost engineering, energy, stock inventories, capital expenditures, maintenance and environment
Support the organization in reaching goals established in the areas of safety, quality, cost, production, standards certification, policy compliance, internal and external customers satisfaction
Responsible for the Environmental Management System in the factory, support TS xxxxxxx and OHSAS
Participate in the elaboration of the strategic plan of the factory, development of the Engineering and Technology department, transfers technologies applied locally (good practices), research and develop new engineering solutions, technical contribution to the community development, government, and education
