Engineering Lead (OneX)

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Team Leadership - Manage resources through providing guidance, mentorship, and support to aid team members in meeting project and operational commitments, galvanizing the existing team into a high-functioning development team.
• Strategic Direction - Drive the evolution of the OneX strategy in alignment with TFG board objectives.
• Includes extension of existing platform and technology stack and integration into Omni point of sale.
• Planning - Participate in the business requirements and specifications review with the designated product manager and provide feedback. Identify and liaise with all business stakeholders.
• Ensure that delivery commitments are met from a timing and functionality perspective.
• Technical Development - Serve as the technical resource on complicated projects, providing guidance to other team members and the necessary documentation that can be followed to implement the project.
• Provide continuous technical input to the development team to maintain development standards.
• Mentor junior engineers or put mentorship in place between senior and junior developers. Ensure comprehensive code reviews.
• Manage 3rd party vendor relationships as it pertains to technology roadmap, commercial alignment, project deliverables, security, and operational stability.
• Financial Management – Responsible for the full budget lifecycle from quarterly estimation to monthly actual processing and variance analysis.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines effectively.
• Proven experience in software development (.Net, C#) and technical leadership roles, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with hands-on experience in backend and frontend development.
