Cork University Hospital (CUH) is seeking applications for the position of Registrar in Emergency Medicine commencing July 2025. CUH is the largest university teaching hospital in Ireland and the country's only Level 1 Trauma Centre. The Emergency Department manages approximately 70,000 attendances annually and provides comprehensive adult and paediatric emergency services.

Eligibility Criteria

Clinical Experience:

• Minimum 3 years post-internship experience in Emergency Medicine

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
• PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Registration:

• Active or in-process Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration
• Postgraduate Qualifications (desirable):
• Part or full MRCEM, FRCEM, FACEM, or DIPPEC (desirable)
