Role Context
Correct work as directed
Plan work and execute
Ensure proper access control workplace
Conduct risk assessment with all tasks
Diagnoses and repairs on plant equipment
Complete requisitions for all spares needed
Ensure availability of machinery/equipment
Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace
Ensure compliance with applicable SHE policies and procedures
All installations are in line with ISO 9001 procedures and policies
Maintains stock levels of all items required for the completion of duties
Perform a variety of routine and preventive maintenance tasks as per maintenance task list
Using gas and electric welding equipment; performs skilled brazing and soldering; and uses a variety of machines, such as power saws, grinders, and drills, in completing work
Communicate with production Foreman and Supervisors to inform on maintenance activities performed and availability of equipment
Cleanup work areas, equipment, supplies, and materials; apply standard safety practices and procedures
Requirements Qualifications
Grade 12/N3
Trade: Electrician/Millwright
