Electrical Engineer - Mining

Hire Resolve's client, a prominent mining company in Mpumalanga, is looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer with experience in the mining sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and overseeing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards while optimizing process efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for electrical systems
• Design and implement electrical systems in accordance with safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory submissions
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Degree (BSc/BEng) in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years' experience in heavy industry (Steel).
• GCC Factories (Electrical)
• Management Development (Advantageous)
• Valid Drivers' License
