Electrical Engineer – AEEE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in their projects, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Position will be based in Blouberg, Cape Town.

Main job function

• Project planning and scheduling
• Design and implementation of electrical systems
• Integration of renewable energy technologies
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to achieve project goals
• Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Provide technical support during the project lifecycle
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering

Experience/Criteria

Proven experience in Electrical Engineering projects

Experience in renewable energy projects

Familiarity with PV Plant Engineering Design

Knowledge of mechatronics principles

Knowledge of SANS-10142-1

Project Management skills
