Electrical Engineer

Recruiting for an Electrical Engineer. A BEng / BSc Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is essential.

POSITION INFO :

• An ideal candidate will be a logical / analytical thinker with exceptional numerical skills.
• A methodical person with an eye for detail.
• A well-spoken person that can build positive relationships with clients.
• Assisting in the process of selecting and procuring electrical equipment.
• Achieving the asset mechanical reliability (AMR) business objectives as well as assisting the Operations team in meeting asset capability (AC) objectives.
• Participating in and assisting with developing and maintaining equipment strategies.
• Providing assistance in the development and implementation of preventative measures for existing structural conditions.
• Managing the different power sources on our plant (Eskom, Generators, Solar).
• Acting as Energy champion.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Must be organised with good planning and administration skills.
• Must have a technical sales personality with an ability to work in a team.
• Must be open to a rotational training programme, where the candidate will be working in projects, technical, maintenance and production.
