Job description
Main job function
Execute E,C&I Engineering projects and deliver them on time.
Define customer needs and requirements.
Develop E,C&I Engineering solutions per identified customer needs.
Ensure the installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
Evaluate systems safety, performance and reliability.
Perform detailed Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Designs (MV & LV).
Perform Call outs and ensure timeous resolution.
Develop PLC coding for solutions.
Develop SCADA/HMI and network communication solutions.
Population of E,C&I panels (wiring).
Systems Specialist & Support for PLC/SCADA/HMI/Networks and Electrical LV.
C&I for Microgrid and Alternative Energy (Systems specialist for Power Monitoring & PLC/SCADA). Support for communications for Inverter & Battery systems for alternative Energy.
C&I for Critical Equipment Monitoring (Systems specialist for Data Loggers, Field Instruments and support for database and reporting).
All other technical systems.
Qualifications
National Diploma/Btech in Electrical Engineering.
Criteria
3-5 years and above, experience in an Industrial Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering environment (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) as a C&I Systems Engineer.
3-5 years hands on experience using Design and Calculation software for Electrical MV & LV.
3-5 years and above PLC Programming, SCADA/HMI and network solutions development and execution.
3-5 Years and above experience with successful completion of E,C&I Projects for Industrial Plants.
3-5 years and above Field instruments such as Flowmeters, Level, Pressure, Temperature, motion, analysers etc.
3-5 Years and above onsite Commissioning Experience.
