- Prepare and present a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to plan and execute menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety at all times
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry preparations
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve and innovate our pastry offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie Pastry or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of pastry and baking techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for creating unique and delicious pastries
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid food handling and sanitation certification
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
