Forklift/Diesel Mechanic - Top Notch Salary

Position:
Forklift Mechanic PE

Salary:
R190/hour plus Medical Aid and Provident Fund

Educational & Training Requirements:

1. Grade 12/N2 or equivalent
2. Qualified forklift/diesel mechanic

1. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar field with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience pertaining to forklifts
2. General working knowledge of auto electrical systems (ignition, starting, charging, illumination)

1. Complete 100% schedules correctly and return on time
2. Generic daily checks to be done on all forklifts
3. Major breakdowns to be reported internally and with Toyota
4. Weekly reports on forklifts
5. Two quotes to be obtained prior to work being done
6. Work place to be kept neat and tidy
7. Must have the correct tools and tools must be in good condition
8. Adhere to OHS Act and guidelines
9. Any other reasonable request
