We are looking for an AVSEC Stakeholder Relations Specialist to join our dynamic Aviation Security team!
Key Responsibilities:
Committee Coordination: Manage activities of the National Aviation Security Committee (NASC), Facilitation Committee, and engagement with ICAO and AFCAC workgroups.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between internal and external committees, disseminate decisions, and facilitate communication.
Secretarial and Administrative Support: Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and manage logistical arrangements.
Record and distribute minutes, track decisions and actions, and maintain proper documentation records.
Reporting: Collate and submit meeting reports to the appropriate aviation committees.
Event Organization: Plan and coordinate stakeholder workshops, forums, and industry engagements.
State Letters Management: Maintain and track responses to ICAO and AFCAC State Letters, and update the SARPS implementation register.
Regulation Review: Contribute to the development and review of regulations, procedures, and operational requirements to improve aviation security.
Qualifications and Experience:
National Diploma or Relevant NQF Level 6 qualification.
Aviation Security training courses.
Ideal Requirements:
Diploma in Aviation Security or relevant degree.
3-5 years' experience in stakeholder relations or aviation committee work.
Aviation regulatory experience is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
Proficient in stakeholder engagement and committee coordination.
Knowledge of aviation security regulations and practices.
