Our client, a dynamic company in the building industry, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive administrative professional to join their close-knit team.

Main job function

  • Greet & assist clients, visitors & reps with a warm & professional demeanor
  • Answer & direct phone calls, emails & enquiries
  • Schedule appointments & manage front desk operations efficiently
  • Provide administrative support across the organization
  • Maintain a clean & organized reception area
  • Supervise cleaner and ensure she does her work
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed
  • Communicate with suppliers & send orders for director
  • Sales – dealing with walk-in customers & telephonic requests
  • Create invoices & assist with quotes
  • Monthly reconciliations for glass suppliers
  • Extensive filing on a daily basis
  • Open new accounts for incoming contracts
  • Capture invoices for director
  • Print statements at month end for accounts department
  • Procurement (ordering office supplies & consumables)
  • Vehicles (booking services, roadworthy, licence disc renewals)
  • Monitor cell phone accounts
  • Company insurance – policy updates
  • Building maintenance – (IT and general maintenance e.g. calling plumber)
  • Assist staff with PPE, stationary & equipment when needed
  • Receive & sign for deliveries
  • Handle wages when HR is unavailable
  • Adhoc requests when necessary

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in reception
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word & Sage Pastel Accounting
  • Positive attitude & ability to multi-task

Remuneration:

R17 000
