Warehouse Controller

Job Responsibilities

1. Efficiently manage the operation of both the Finished goods, Local and Imported merchandise and Raw material warehouse.
2. Ensure that a high degree of customer service is maintained, through speed, accuracy, and quality of the loading function.
3. Ensure that all SAP and administration related functions are timeously completed.
4. Conduct stock takes and cycle counts as required.
5. Compile monthly and periodic reports as required.
6. Ensure that all invoices are receipted in SAP.
7. Ensure that everyone in the warehouse obeys safety regulations and observes safety precautions as laid down in the applicable legislation.
8. Build and manage a highly motivated and professional team who can meet the demands of a fast-paced challenging business environment while also ensuring the site meets demanding customer service and quality targets.

Is this job for you?

The ideal candidate must have a Degree or Diploma in Transportation / Logistics / Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering, FI Practitioner (if internal) / WCM experience (if internal).

Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics, inventory control, and warehouse supervision within a production planning environment. At least 1 year of management / supervisory experience within a Warehousing / Logistics Environment. This role calls for a person with the ability to do budgeting and cost management.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience in managing a team, along with good communication and interpersonal skills. To make sure nothing is forgotten, to coordinate various aspects of supply chain management, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and materials management.
