About the Role:

Omunix International, a recruitment firm specializing in remote talent for the US and European markets, is looking for a Graphic and Web Designer for a client that is transforming how brands achieve visibility and growth through innovative PR and digital strategies.

Our client is a forward-thinking PR and communication agency founded by a team with over 20 years of experience in PR, branding, digital marketing, and international marketing leadership. They specialize in helping startups in the technology space become visible in their industry through a full-service approach to their marketing needs, from web and asset design to B2B social media management and PR.

We are seeking a talented designer with a passion for innovation and technology, who can combine creative skills and a hands-on approach to refine tech brands and bring them to life across websites and design assets. As part of the team, you will design and develop user-friendly, responsive websites with basic to intermediate branding requirements, mostly leveraging platforms such as Squarespace and WordPress, creating basic brand books and brand design guidelines, and supporting the development of a range of assets for startup clients, from social media to brochures and presentations. You will occasionally also actively engage in client meetings to ensure projects align with their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop simple, user-friendly websites tailored to clients' branding and functionality needs.
• Create digital assets (banners, newsletters, presentations, marketing materials) to support campaigns and branding efforts.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across all client deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings to present creative concepts, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with client goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (PR, project managers, and content strategists) to deliver cohesive visual campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Adapt designs to reflect the tech-driven and innovative identity of climate tech clients.
• Independently drive design projects from concept through execution, ensuring creative solutions align with client vision.
• Lead creative direction to ensure designs reflect brand values and resonate with target audiences.
• Quickly understand and apply client brand identities, delivering impactful, cohesive designs.
• Basic understanding of UX principles and ability to implement user-friendly designs across various platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web design, branding, and marketing materials, particularly for startups or niche businesses.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and platforms like Figma, Sketch, and Canva.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles, suitable for creating functional yet straightforward websites.
• Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly and handle feedback constructively.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, and Webflow.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to managing feedback and project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in PR or digital marketing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with motion graphics or video editing tools is an advantage.

Compensation:

$800 - $1,000 USD per month, based on experience and role alignment.
