National Diploma in engineering, in a relevant discipline
Civil Designer, or Civil 3D, AutoCAD
Registration with ECSA as a Candidate (Professional Engineering registration will be a bonus)

Checking and verifying designs done by junior design team members.
Assisting with the preparation of technical proposals.
Conducting feasibility studies, options analysis, and master planning.
Managing and directing design teams.
Acting as design team leader on identified project components.
Liaising with clients.
Processing survey and site investigation information.
Applying general drawing control practices.
Preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and lifecycle costs.
Developing and reviewing specifications, including design criteria.
Preparing procurement documents.
Formal report writing and professional presentation of work.
Developing an understanding of industry codes and standards and client specifications and expectations.
Developing an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
Compiling relevant project documentation.
Analyzing and suggesting solutions to moderately complex problems in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
Skills Required:
