Job description

Fixed Term Contract: 6 months

Role Overview: Responsible for managing the Sales and E-commerce process (Wholesale Distributors), including listing items, images, pricing, and following up on orders processed and lead times met, ensuring 100% accuracy and correct pricing in line with each customer agreement.

The ability to build customer relations and sales for online as well as independent stores is essential. This comprehensive role involves a mix of customer relationship management, platform and inventory oversight, along with a focus on maintaining and improving the overall online experience for business clients.

Key Performance Purpose:

  1. Manage the Product Enrichment Process: Ensure items are listed with accurate images, descriptions, and pricing across online platforms.
  2. Order Follow-Up and Lead Times: Monitor and ensure that all orders lead times are met, ensuring smooth customer delivery experiences.
  3. Pricing and Accuracy: Ensure 100% accuracy in product listings and pricing, in alignment with customer agreements, reducing errors or discrepancies.
  4. Query Resolution: Resolve both internal and external queries promptly, maintaining high levels of online customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate online customers, ensuring high service levels and satisfaction.
  • Implement and drive strategies focused on increasing online sales, optimizing platform performance, and enhancing customer experience.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently, ensuring timely responses and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer inquiries related to products, orders, and services.
  • Supervise the entire order process to ensure adherence to delivery lead times and resolve issues related to delays or incorrect orders.
  • Administer price increases across all online customers in accordance with agreements, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Manage online queries.
  • Follow up with customer service teams to resolve issues and track the status of orders.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders, collaborating with transporters and warehouse teams to meet deadlines.
  • List products on customer websites and marketplaces, ensuring data integrity and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Manage stock files, edit incorrect data, and maintain product imagery and information across e-commerce platforms.
  • Reserve stock for customers and ensure that stock is in saleable condition, managing from packaging to physical stock availability.
  • Follow up on short-supplied lines and resolve stock-related queries.
  • Manage the backend of the e-commerce platform, ensuring proper product uploads, accurate stock data, and smooth integration.
  • Inspect online platforms for correct product information, imagery, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Liaise with debtors to release online purchase orders and assist in opening new accounts for customers.
  • Prepare quotes and special deals for online customers, working closely with the Key Account Manager or representative of the account.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments (sales, customer service, warehouse) to ensure seamless order processing and issue resolution.
  • Handle any additional ad hoc tasks as required by management, including documentation, reporting, and communication.
