ORGANISATION REPORTING STRUCTURE


Superior 2nd level: Managing Director

Superior 1st level: SHERQ Manager

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS)


Responsible for:

  1. Ensuring the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality ISO 9001, Environment ISO14001 and OHSAS systems.
  2. Register, administer, update and follow up of all Database systems, including:
    1. Customer Complaints
    2. Supplier Complaints
    3. Product Return for Credit
    4. Corrective Action System
    5. Isolations
    6. Internal and External Audits
    7. Drawing control
    8. Incidents and Accidents
    9. Procedure Data Matrix
    10. Aging analysis on actions
    11. Update approved supplier list and facilitate re-evaluations.
  3. Compiling reports for input to Management Meeting on all Database performances and feedback reports to sister companies.
  4. Compile monthly reports as needed.
  5. Administrate all drawings for the Quality control lab, register new and updated drawings, and ensure latest versions are used.
  6. Administrate, update and compile all in-process inspection books.
  7. Writing out requisitions and handling of orders.
  8. Administrate, update and distribute all Group and SHERQ master documents.
  9. Participate in desktop and internal audits and facilitate audit planning.
  10. Provide data for input to management reviews and facilitate output.
  11. Drafting of management review minutes.
  12. Ensure master equipment is calibrated to National standards.
  13. Drafting of COC’s.
  14. Administrate RMA claims and ensure H&S incidents are reported.
  15. Administrate toolbox talk minutes.
  16. Keep record of all legal appointments.
  17. Arrange internal and external training.
  18. Scheduling of H&S meetings.
  19. Compile H&S minutes and distribute info on all notice boards.
  20. Weekly age matrix distribution.
  21. Plan and conduct internal audits.
  22. Analyze trends and set up reporting structures.
  23. Assist with customer complaint investigations.
  24. Develop control measures and reporting structures for all systems.
  25. Maintain orderly files of all records.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM FUNCTIONS

  1. Versatile in accumulating data and information for comparison to set norms.
  2. An ability to call meetings, arrange agendas and compile information to aid production in decision-making regarding prevention, correction, and solutions to all quality control problems.
  3. Knowledge of all practical functions of quality control and inspections.
  4. Knowledge of how to correlate meeting agendas, write minutes, and activate follow-up decisions.
  5. Knowledge of standard drawing office practices.
  6. Formal education on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 latest version standards.
  7. Communicate, read, and write in English.
  8. Must be able to work under pressure, be reliable, and set a good example.
  9. Familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations requirements.
  10. Must have Matric.
  11. Knowledge and training on Access Database.
  12. Must have a post-matric qualification.

  4. Accuracy with figure work and Administration.
  5. Good communication.
  6. Ability to facilitate training.
  7. Between 5 - 7 Years experience.
