Job Overview:
As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for customers by crafting and serving a variety of beverages. Bartenders are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
    Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
    Mix and serve beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  2. Mixology:
    Possess a thorough understanding of drink recipes and be able to create a wide range of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
    Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the drink menu.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    Stay informed about the bar's offerings, including seasonal and specialty drinks.
    Educate customers about different types of beverages and make informed recommendations.
  4. Ordering and Inventory:
    Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
    Keep track of popular and seasonal ingredients to ensure availability.
  5. Cleanliness and Organization:
    Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar tools.
    Dispose of waste properly and adhere to health and safety standards.
  6. Cash Handling:
    Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
    Provide customers with receipts and handle any discrepancies.
  7. Communication:
    Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
    Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent service.
  8. Adherence to Policies:
    Follow established policies and procedures, including age verification for alcohol consumption.
    Comply with local and state regulations related to the service of alcoholic beverages.
  9. Problem Solving:
    Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
    Handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Certification in responsible beverage service (e.g., TIPS) may be required.

Experience:

  • Bartending: 2 years (Preferred)
