- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and retain a portfolio of high-value Growth Segment clients ensuring long-term profitability and client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough financial analyses and risk assessments to identify opportunities for business growth and mitigate potential risks within the entrepreneurial environment.
- Provide expert advice and tailored financial solutions to meet the complex needs of high-value clients demonstrating a deep understanding of their business operations and industry-specific challenges.
- Proactively manage client relationships through regular engagement anticipating needs and delivering high-end differentiated services that exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement value-adding solutions that address clients' evolving financial requirements and support their business growth objectives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit applications ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyse portfolio performance identifying trends and opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' businesses providing timely and relevant insights to support informed decision-making.
- Cultivate and maintain a network of professional contacts within the business community to facilitate client introductions and identify new growth opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of departmental strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance overall portfolio performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum NQF7 qualification in Business Commerce
- FAIS competency certification
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a client-facing sales role preferably within the banking sector
- Demonstrated expertise in managing portfolios within the entrepreneurial environment
- Proven track record in understanding business operations, risk assessment, and financial requirements pertaining to the entrepreneur market
- Prior experience as an Account Analyst or in a Relationship Management role with responsibility for servicing business customers and preparing credit applications
Preferred Experience:
- Background in agricultural finance and operations
- In-depth understanding of business risks and industry-specific challenges
- Proficiency in financial analysis and credit assessment
- Strong relationship management and client retention skills
