General Financial Accountant

RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a General Financial Accountant to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records
2. Prepare financial statements and reports
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
4. Assist with audits and tax filings
5. Process payroll and manage financial transactions
6. Utilize accounting software for bookkeeping and reporting
7. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making

1. BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles
3. Proficiency in Pastel Payroll and Pastel Accounting
4. Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word
5. Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
