Job Overview:

The Retail Sales Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales associates. The manager will work to maximize revenue, meet sales targets, and promote the company’s products and services, including smartphones, mobile plans, accessories, and other telecommunications solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the cellular industry, and a passion for achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
    • Drive the branch’s overall sales performance by setting, monitoring, and achieving sales targets for cellular products, accessories, and service plans.
    • Create sales strategies to increase store revenue and customer acquisition.
    • Lead by example in closing sales and ensuring the team delivers top-tier service.
  2. Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales associates, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve sales techniques.
    • Motivate staff to meet and exceed sales targets, promoting upselling and cross-selling of cellular products and services.
  3. Customer Experience:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered by the team, addressing any escalated customer complaints and ensuring issues are resolved swiftly.
    • Stay informed about the latest cellular products and services to offer the best solutions to customers.
    • Oversee in-store merchandising, ensuring product displays are well-organized and appealing to drive sales.
  4. Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and adherence to company policies.
    • Monitor and manage store budgets, including expenses, labor, and inventory costs.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols in the store.
  5. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide regular sales reports to the regional manager and suggest actions to improve branch performance.
  6. Marketing and Promotions:
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to implement promotional campaigns and events.
    • Ensure that in-store promotions are effectively communicated to customers to drive product sales.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role in the telecommunications or cellular industry.
  • Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of cellular products, plans, and accessories is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and create actionable strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses/commissions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R13000,00 - R15000,00 per month

Experience:

  • Sales Management: 3 years (Required)
