Tax Consultant

Location: North Riding

Description:

• This individual will be working alongside the Senior Tax Consultant and the Head of Tax on a daily basis.
• The individual will be responsible for:

1. Conducting international Tax Research
2. Compiling basic tax simulations
3. Liaising with partners
4. Following up with finance department to ensure payments are made on time
5. Ensuring Deal Sheet is complete
6. Dealing with contractor queries
7. Compiling payroll files
8. Conducting any ad-hoc admin tasks relating to Solutions tax team
9. Attending meetings with potential partners
10. Assisting the senior tax consultants with ad-hoc tasks if required

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 2 - 4 years
• Education: Degree
• Skills Required: Matric, BCom Financial Management // BCom Financial Services // BCom Accounting or equivalent diploma

Preferred Experience:

• General Accounting
• An understanding of international tax rules and regulations
• A good understanding of local taxation
• Intermediate Excel Skills
• Experience in international payroll is an advantage.

Systems Experience:

• Outlook
• Microsoft Word
• Excel
• XERO
• QuickBooks
• Payspace
