Job description
We are seeking a versatile and proactive French Speaking Personal Assistant to CEO/Au Pair. This hybrid role involves providing dedicated assistance from 9 am to 3 pm in an office setting in De Waterkant and then transitioning to au pair responsibilities from 3 pm to 5 pm in Sea Point. During school holidays, this position will focus entirely on childcare. Ideal candidates will be fluent in French, hold a tertiary degree, and have their own vehicle to ensure timely transportation.
Requirements
Language: Fluent in French (essential for engaging with the family)
Education: Tertiary degree required
Transportation: Own vehicle for school pick-ups and daily travel
Experience: Prior experience as a personal assistant and/or au pair preferred
Responsibilities
Personal Assistant (Office: 9 am - 3 pm)
Manage daily schedules, appointments, and correspondence for the principal
Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries
Organize meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and taking minutes
Conduct research, prepare reports, and handle confidential information professionally
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, managing emails, and handling calls
Support personal and business-related errands as needed
Au Pair (3 pm - 5 pm during school term; full-day during school holidays)
Pick up from school, assist with after-school activities, and ensure safe transportation
Engage in creative and educational activities, fostering a positive learning environment
Prepare snacks and meals as necessary, with an emphasis on healthy choices
Communicate with parents to provide regular updates on the childs day and activities
Assist with any homework or assignments when needed
