JOB PROFILE

JOB TITLE: Branch Receptionist

DURATION: Twelve (12) Months Fixed Term Contract

REPORTING TO: Branch Manager

JOB GRADE: B2 Minimum Midpoint

TOTAL CTC: R166 173 - R195 498

NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1

LOCATION: Northern Cape: ZF Mgcawu - Upington

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide reception services, welcome visitors and maintain the reception area in a professional manner.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  1. Provide switchboard services by screening incoming calls and transferring to relevant staff in Provincial Office.
  2. Provide reception and administrative services.
  3. Handle face-to-face enquiries from visitors.
  4. Control inventory relevant to the reception area and ensure the reception area is maintained in a presentable state at all times.
  5. Plan and coordinate support personnel diaries.
  6. Coordinate provincial office fleet.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  1. Matric (NQF level 4).
  2. Office Administration Certificate as added advantage.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  1. 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  2. Knowledge of switchboard systems.
  3. Knowledge of Seda products and services and Seda’s role within the SMME Sector.
