A leading fiduciary firm specializing in managing trusts is expanding its office and is looking for an experienced Trust Officer / Fiduciary Specialist. If you have a strong background in trust administration, with a focus on maintaining and expanding fiduciary client relationships, this role is for you.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Relevant graduate degree specific to Law, Accounting, Tax, or Financial Planning.
2. 3 or more years of experience as an independent Trust Officer.
3. Managed at least 60 trust clients.
4. Extensive knowledge of the Trust Property Control Act.
5. Thorough understanding of the Income Tax Act, Tax Administration Act, and Estate Duty Act.
6. Experience in estate planning (local and offshore) (Advantageous).
7. Knowledge of exchange control matters (Advantageous).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage and expand fiduciary client relationships.
2. Interpret and apply the Trust Property Control Act.
3. Administer trusts with accuracy and compliance.
4. Provide expert advice on estate planning and tax regulations.
5. Work closely with clients to ensure trust structures are optimized.
6. Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
