Job description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a conveyancing environment.
  • Transfer and bonds experience with FNB, Standard and Nedbank Bank essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions, essential.

Job Related Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Knowledge of FICA.
  • Typing speed of 45+ wpm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive instructions from various banks and attend to registration of mortgage bonds.
  • Prepare various transfer, bond, and related conveyancing documents.
  • Contact and liaise with municipalities, SARS, Attorneys and service providers.
  • Attend to the collection of costs.
  • Compile and amend documents for lodgement and registration.
  • Attend to deeds office process and bank processes to register transactions.
  • Attend to all financial aspects of all transactions, including final accounts.
  • Prepare debit/credit notes and other accounting queries.
