A minimum of a BSc Degree in Human Movement / Health Sciences.
Good understanding of human anatomy is essential.
Minimum of 0-3 years of working experience as a medical device sales representative or proven industry experience with above qualification.
Fluency in English is a necessity.
A high quality of communication, planning, and time management skills are required.
Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating, and feedback skills.
Valid code 08 drivers license & own reliable vehicle.
Able to work after hours for theatre cases.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook.
Must be fully vaccinated against Hepatitis B (or start process at start of employment).
Responsibilities
Develop & understand how to maintain and develop current business and seek new business.
Sales and Marketing of all products in the designated range.
Attend theatre cases to learn and develop and apply this learning in a theatre environment; provide technical support in the operating theatre when required.
Ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE.
Prepare, review, and update surgeon preference lists including quotes.
Develop knowledge of how to conduct customer calls to drive business growth.
Acquire the skill to lead the development of existing and new accounts.
Plan and co-ordinate sales calls and strategies.
Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff.
Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in the annual sales plan for the territory.
