Campaign Concept Designer & Social Media Marketer (In-store & Online)

At Grapevine Retail (www.grapevine.co.za) we deliver creative and hassle-free in-store branding campaigns, while Green Media (www.greenmedia.co.za) amplifies marketing budgets by swopping unsold products for advertising space. This role serves both companies, ensuring cohesive, innovative campaigns that drive results and showcase our commitment to impactful marketing.


Mission

To conceptualise creative in-store marketing campaigns for Grapevine Retail and engaging social media content for Grapevine Retail and Green Media. This role drives Grapevine’s ability to win more client partnerships and amplifies the online presence of both Grapevine and Green Media. Responsibilities include generating innovative ideas, content creation, social media marketing strategy, social media post creation and scheduling, landing page design, and occasional video editing and copywriting, ensuring cohesive campaigns across all platforms.


Outcomes

  • Campaign Impact: Deliver a minimum of 12 successful marketing campaigns per year across Grapevine Retail and Green Media, achieving measurable increases in brand awareness and engagement.
  • Social Media Growth: Drive follower growth by at least 20% annually on key platforms, ensuring consistent, engaging content tailored to our audience.
  • Client Satisfaction: Maintain a 90% 'excellent' rating for client feedback on campaigns, demonstrating creativity and alignment with brand goals.
  • Efficiency: Develop streamlined processes for campaign ideation and execution, reducing turnaround time by 15%.
  • Engagement: Achieve a 25% increase in online interactions (likes, shares, comments) for each campaign compared to previous benchmarks.

Responsibilities

  1. Campaign Ideation: Conceptualise unique, impactful campaigns that align with the marketing objectives of Grapevine Retail and Green Media.
  2. Content Creation: Develop and manage high-quality social media content, including copywriting, images, videos, and graphics, to engage audiences.
  3. Social Media Strategy and Scheduling: Create and implement social media marketing strategies, develop posts, and schedule content to ensure consistent online presence.
  4. Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of campaigns from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and timelines.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, production, and creative teams to integrate campaign strategies across in-store and online platforms.
  6. Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign performance and social media metrics to refine strategies and improve results.
  7. Internal Documentation: Keep internal documents up to date.
  8. Websites: Create landing pages and forms for various campaigns if required.

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Media, Communication, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or campaign conceptualization.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a flair for creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with in-store marketing and retail promotions is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and Elementor.
