Job description
Our Client is currently looking for a Learner Administrator Assistant for their Technical Training Centre in Secunda.
Requirements & Job Description:
Student Enrollment and Registration:
- Assisting students with course selection and registration processes.
- Verifying student eligibility and documentation for courses.
- Managing waitlists and course capacity.
Student Record Management:
- Maintaining accurate student records, including academic transcripts, demographics, and contact information.
- Updating student data on learning management systems (LMS).
- Generating reports on student progress and attendance.
Course Administration:
- Creating and distributing course syllabuses and materials.
- Managing course schedules and room assignments.
- Assisting with online course setup and technical support.
Communication and Support:
- Responding to student inquiries regarding course registration, deadlines, and academic policies.
- Providing technical support to students using the LMS or other learning platforms.
- Communicating important updates and announcements to students.
Data Entry and Reporting:
- Entering student data into databases and generating reports on student performance, enrollment trends, and other relevant metrics.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and participation.
Administrative Tasks:
- Managing office supplies and maintaining filing systems related to student records.
- Scheduling meetings and appointments for the learning administrator.
- Supporting with event planning for student-related activities.
Required Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service skills to interact with students and faculty effectively.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required, associate's degree or relevant administrative experience preferred.
- Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Prior experience in an administrative support role within an educational setting is beneficial.
