Description of the role:
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join our agile team working on ship intelligence and digitalization software.

Job responsibilities:

• Review test reports, investigate failures, open bugs and track their lifecycle
• Develop, execute and review test cases (manual or automated), scripts, plans and procedures
• Write scripts and use tools to automation the testing process, enabling faster and more efficient validation of the software
• Be part of agile team and work closely with developers, PM and PO
• Actively participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases of a project

What you need to succeed:

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle
• Possesses analytical, logical and creative thinking
• Thoroughly understand the project requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience in designing and implementing custom testing frameworks
• Programming skills (JavaScript, Python)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of database concepts
• Writing and maintaining automated scripts
• Integrating Automated tests with CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Analyzing the test results and reporting defects
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
